I am a 14 year veteran teacher, mother of 5, wife, movie and TV show streaming binge watcher, book lover, and artsy-fartsy. Since 5 years old, I wanted to be a teacher. I changed my mind about what type of teacher. A lot. But, here I am! 

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master's of Art in Administration & Supervision, and a few endorsements on my teaching certificate:

Middle Level English 5-8;   Mild/Mod Disabilities K-8;     Principal K-8

I have taught in 4 different school districts throughout Oklahoma, ranging from 1st-4th and 6th-8th grades, plus I hold experience in Instructional Coaching and Special Education and am now teaching a Moderate Behavior Special Ed middle school class. I currently am in a virtual, instructional coaching program with the Oklahoma State Department of Education. I mentored student teachers and first year teachers over the years. 

A couple of my goals someday:

1. Write an autobiography of my teaching years

2. and quite possibly, a collection of short, non-fiction teaching-life stories!
